Niftyzone aims to empower South East Asia’s Digital Creators
In simple terms, an NFT is a type of technology that gives artists the ability to not only monetize their art but also control the ownership and authenticity of their art. Niftyzone is a curated marketplace that offers free NFTs minting services for selected artists.
Our UI/UX Design process began by conducting market research on the existing NFT marketplaces such as OpenSea, Mintable, Foundation, and more. We compiled our findings into a table using Miro and noted the things that can be incorporated into Niftyzone’s UI, given its mission and purpose.
The NFTexplorer serves as a gallery for people to easily view the NFTs in their wallet with a simple search of their wallet address or sharing the URL. As seen above, the user journey to view an NFT in a wallet is rather arduous. NFTexplorer aims to target that pain point. After we had conducted the market research, we proceeded to do the low-fi prototype to swiftly come up with an idea for the layout or the web application. Once the key features were done, we proceeded to create the high-fidelity prototype and improve the design from there.
Niftyzone offers multiple services. Besides its main page which includes featured NFTs and the editorial blog, it also has a wallet gallery and an upcoming NFT marketplace. Our job was to explore how to make the marketplace user-friendly by providing a seamless onboarding experience, especially for those who are new to the NFT space. In order to do so, we did more market research to see how other NFT marketplaces onboarded users and where things like tooltips and FAQs would come in handy.
